Timothy C. Nies
Timothy is a trial lawyer and graduate of Nova Southeastern University's law
school.
Prior to joining the firm, Timothy was a senior casualty department attorney for
Marshall, Dennehy, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in Fort Lauderdale, the largest
insurance defense law firm in the U.S., with more than 350 lawyers. For many
years Timothy has defended the largest insurance companies, physicians and
several Fortune 500 Companies in medical malpractice, motor vehicle accident,
and product liability lawsuits. Timothy's unique experience in working for a large
insurance defense firm is a valuable tool in representing injured clients in lawsuits
against large companies and insurance companies.
Timothy is admitted to the Florida Bar and also admitted to the United States
District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida. He has lectured
on a variety of topics, including slips, trips and fall and Florida's Good Samaritan
Law.
Prior to embarking upon his legal career, Tim served as a team leader in the
United States Army's Airborne Rangers at the Third Ranger Battalian, 75th
Ranger Regiment in Fort Benning, Georgia. There, he not only honed valuable
leadership and team-building skills, but also learned to react quickly under
pressure and time constraints.
